High Hardness AISI 440C EN 1.4125 Stainless Steel Sheets And Pates
The 440 grades form a series of high carbon martensitic stainless steels.
They have basic corrosion resistance and extremely high hardness and wear resistance.
440 stainless group contains:
- 440A, 440B, 440C
- 1.4109, 1.4112, 1.4125
- S44002, S44003, S44004
Instrument grade, medical alloy, martensite stainless AISI 440C, JIS SUS440C, EN 1.4125, DIN X105CrMo17
Type 440C is capable of attaining very high hardness; approximately Rockwell C 60.
Material 440C stainless principally has been used in bearing assemblies, including bearing balls and races.
