EN 1.4057 DIN X17CrNi16-2 AISI 431 Cold Drawn Stainless Steel Wires, Rods, Bars
Grade EN 1.4057 is a martensitic stainless steel with nickel addition.
Its high content of chromium ensures a higher corrosion resistance than classical martensitic
stainless steels like AISI 410 or AISI 420.
1.4057 stainless grade is employed preferentially in quench and tempered condition that
offers a wide range of mechanical properities depending on the tempering temperature.
