Cold Rolled Spring Stainless Steel Strip In Coil 316 And 316L
Austenitic stainless steel. A grade of steel offering superior corrosion resistance and particularly effective
against stress corrosion cracking and intergranular corrosion created by increasing the nickel (Ni) content of
SUS 304 stainless and further adding molybdenum (Mo).
As there is no JIS standard specifically covering 316 and 316 L-CSP, the 316 and 316 L-CSP carried is
created in conformation with the standard for 304 CSP. (The "L" in SUS 316 L stands for "low carbon.")
Please note that although in a solution treated state it is not magnetic, once it is CSP it is weakly magnetic.
Typical applications
Diaphragms, bellows, components used around water, washers etc.
