AISI 420 UNS S42000 Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Coil And Slit Strip
Type 420 is a martensitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance similar to 410
plus increased strength and hardness.
It is magnetic in both the annealed and hardened conditions.
Maximum corrosion resistance is attained only in the fully hardened condition.
It is used in the heat treated ( quenched and tempered ) condition.

Cutlery, scissors, tapes, straight edges, medical and dental applications; parts for numerous branches of the industry
