Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Strip Coil Type AISI 420A EN 1.4021

420A stainless belongs to the family of martensitic stainless steels whose main

characterisitics is the hardenability by heat treatment. 

High levels of hardness can be achieved in quenched condition, but recommended in the quenched

and tempered condition, which guarantees both and adequate toughness recovery without

compromising hardness and the best condition for corrosion resistance.

420A stainless steel complies with the ASTM A240 regulation for UNS S42000 designations and

with the UNI-EN 10088-2:2014 standard for grade 1.4021 (X20Cr13).
