AISI 430F SUS430F EN 1.4105 DIN X6CrMoS17 Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Round Bar
430F ferritic stainless steel. Not hardnable, better machinability but lower corrosion resistance
than 430 ( 1.4016 ) stainless.
Typical applications: Parts in nitric acid plants, high sulphur oil refineries; indoor and
outdoor decorative parts in buildings; car trim; fasteners; parts of fuel oil burners; kitchen and tableware;
electromagnetic valves.
Machinability is improved by Sulphur addition; suitable for small pieces to be obtained on
high speed screw machines (fasteners, pins, small shafts, etc.)
