- Better corrosion resistance than straight chromium types e.g. 1.4031 stainless.
- Good resistance to erosion and wear.
- Applications e.g. Hard facing wire. Surgical instruments.
- Valves for moderately aggressive liquids, table and professional cutlery to resist washing machine detergents.
