Martensitic grade AISI 420, UNS S42000, hardenable stainless steel used for its basic corrosion resistance,
high strength and wear resistance.
Martensitic stainless steels are designed for high hardness and sometimes other properties are to some degree compromised.
Stainless Alloy 420 is used for a variety of applications where good corrosion and outstanding hardness is necessary.
