AISI 444 EN 1.4521 Stainless Steel Sheet , Plate , Strip And Coil
444 stainless is a low carbon and low nitrogen ferritic stainless steel containing 18% chromium, 2% molybdenum.
The 444 stainless is stabilized with additions of columbium and titanium for resistance to intergranular corrosion.
One big advantage of the 444 stainless alloy over austenitic stainless steels, such as 304 and 316 stainless alloys,
is the practical immunity of the 444 stainless to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
