Under the AISI 420 stainless grade family, we understand the following material grades in the German material system:
1.4021 – X20Cr13 - AISI 420A
1.4028 – X30Cr13 - AISI 420B
1.4031 – X39Cr13 - AISI 420X
1.4034 – X46Cr13 - AISI 420C
AISI 420 is a carbon-rich stainless steel with a chromium content of 13%.
When annealed, AISI 420 stainless has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance.
