mechanical properties, hardness, chloride induced pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking may be considered.
And the high quality stainless tubes and pipes with such material can be also used for other specific applications as petro/gas industry.
Ferritic stainless AISI 430, UNS 43000, JIS SUS430, EN 1.4016, DIN X6Cr17, BS 430S17
Type 430 stainless is one of the most widely used of non hardenable ferritic stainless steels,
with nominal 16% chromium it combines good corrosion resistance and heat and oxidation resistance up to 816℃
with good mechanical properties.
