Super Ferritic UNS S44660 Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Strip In Coils
 
Material UNS S44660 ( 26-3-3 ) , the most cost-effective stainless alloy in high chloride applications
and where the potential for microbiological influenced corrosion (MIC) exists. which was designed for
seawater applications, has excellent corrosion resistance and similar thermal conductivity as titanium Grade 2.

The ferritic structure of UNS S44660 stainless steel provides a high strength/low work hardening material
with good ductility. These properties allow high design stress limits with good fabrication characteristics.
Because of the nickel addition, Grade UNS S44660 stainless has a lower ductile-to-brittle transition temperature
than similar ferritic steels without nickel additions.
Higher steam and water droplet erosion resistance allowing a greater cushion in cases where upset
conditions may occur Weldability to other stainless steels, which can be successfully welded to TP304,
TP316, high performance austenitic alloys, duplex stainless steels, and nickel alloys. Seal welds
on titanium can only be made to titanium or Ti clad tubesheets.
Higher strength and modulus which allows more tolerance for those tough designs and installations
