High Carbon Stainless Steel JIS SUS440C ( DIN 1.4125 ) Steel Plates / Sheets
440C is a 400 series stainless steel, and is the highest carbon content from 400 stainless steel series ( 440A/B/C ).
It is usually heat treated to reach hardness of 58–60 HRC.
It is used to produce knife blades, food blades, medical instruments and mechanical engineering parts.
