Ferritic grade 430 is a corrosion- and heat-resisting chrome stainless steel.
We provide 430 ( 1.4016 ) stainless steel round bars
as per ASTM A276 / A276M - 17 Standard Specification for Stainless Steel Bars and Shapes.
and 430F ( 1.4105 ) stainless steel drawn wire, rod, round bars.
It's ferritic grade with improved machinability.
Type 430F should be considered when making machined articles from a 17% chromium steel.
Type 430F does not harden by heat treatment.
It has been used in automatic screw machines for parts requiring good corrosion resistance such as
aircraft parts and gears.
