Type 1.4310 is an austenitic stainless steel capable of attaining high strenghts and ductility by cold working.
It is not hardenable by heat treatment.
Type 1.4310 is non magnetic in the annealed condition and becomes increasingly magnetic with cold working.
Applications
Springs, washers, zippers, clips, clamps, stampings of a wide variety of parts, pins.
Delivery forms
narrow strip, thin strip is usually supplied in coils, alternatively, strip may be supplied in cut lengths.
