The Cord Anchorage Force and Torque Test Equipment is designed and manufactured according to the standard requirements of IEC60884-1 clause 23.2, IEC60745-1:2006, IEC60335-1 clause 25.15, IEC60598-1 clause 5.2.10.3, IEC60065 clause 16.5 and etc.
The tester is used to conduct two tests of tension and torque at the terminals of appliances (lamps) with power cords, appliances intended to be permanently connected to fixed wiring with flexible cords, and power cords such as household appliances, medical equipment, etc.
The test method is to make a mark at the position of the wire sample 20mm from the fixing device, gently apply the tension 25 times (or the number of times required by other standards) at a rate of 1 time/second, and apply a torque near the exit of the appliance for 1 minute. After the test, the displacement of the marking position of the wire shall not exceed 2mm.
