Take IEC 60335-2-25 clause 3 as an example:

Compliance for the microwave normal operation is checked by the following test. Operation of the appliance with 1000g±50g of potable water at an initial temperature of 20°C±2°C in a cylindrical borosilicate glass vessel having a maximum thickness of 3mm and an outside diameter of approximately 190mm. The vessel is placed on the centre of the shelf.

Notice:

1. Please do not damage the appliance shape (such as scratching, bending, etc.).

2. Wear insulation gloves when moving the vessel from microwave oven to avoid high temperature burns.

3. Handle with care, to avoid broken of the vessel.
