The lamp holder “Go” and “Not Go” gauges are manufactured according to relative requirements of IEC 60061-3, they are required by UL 496 2013 clause 5.2.4.2.

These lamp holder gauges are used to check whether the dimensions and shapes of the lamp holders meet standard requirements by using the lamp holders interchangeable size gauges.

PURPOSE: To check the maximum minor diameter of the screw thread, dimension D1, of lamp holders E10, EP10, EY10, E14, E27, E39 and E40.

TESTING: The screw thread of the lamp holder shall be assumed to be correct if the gauge does not enter by its own weight so far that the thread protrudes beyond surface T.
