This device is designed in compliance with IEC 60884-1:2022 (clauses 12.3.11, 12.3.12, and Figure 14) and IEC 60669-1 clause 12.3.11, etc.
It is intended to verify whether screwless terminals can securely retain rigid solid conductors, even after the conductors have been deflected during normal installation. The test involves deflecting the conductor and measuring the voltage drop, thereby assessing the clamping capability and contact performance of the terminal.
The device features simple operation, adjustable load current, and a sample fixture built in accordance with standard specifications.
