IEC 60669-1 Flush Mounting Box Screwless Terminals Deflection Test Apparatus
This test apparatus complies with IEC 60884-1:2022 Clause 12.3.11, Clause 12.3.12 and Figure 14, as well as IEC 60669-1 Clause 12.3.11.
It simulates a real-world installation scenario: rigid solid conductors are often bent and forced sideways when fitted inside a flush mounting box for wall switches and sockets. The equipment verifies whether screwless terminals can maintain reliable clamping force even when conductors deflect during regular wiring work.
During testing, the tester deflects rigid solid conductors mounted in screwless terminals and monitors voltage drop continuously. This evaluation accurately checks the long-term clamping capacity and stable contact performance of push-in / screwless terminals.
