Product Overview
Built for luminaires and household-type electrical goods, this test apparatus evaluates anti-knock performance of outer enclosures, control levers, hand grips, adjustment knobs, indicator lamp assemblies and lamp guards. It assesses mechanical robustness and overall safety level of finished electrical samples.
Key Features
- The impact hammer is composed of three parts:
- Shell - Includes housing, impact element guide and release mechanism, and parts fixed on these parts
- Impact element - Including the hammer, hammer tail and firing handle
- Release cone
- Working principle: The hammer generates impact energy by the mass and movement of impact element. When pulling the operating handle, release claw stops at the impact element release point, compressing the hammer spring. Different compression levels release different energy amounts. For multi-energy impact hammers, rotate the end cover to select corresponding impact energy. Each unit is pre-calibrated on calibration facilities before delivery.
In daily lab QC and certification work, this hammer reproduces real-world impact events under controlled lab conditions. It serves quality-control departments of manufacturers as well as third-party testing laboratories, helping verify whether exterior components can withstand mechanical shock during installation, operation and transit.
