IEC 60884-1 Clause 19 Plug Socket Temperature Rise Test Equipment

This series of temperature rising test apparatus is conforming to IEC 60884-1:2013 clause 19 figure 44, and required by many test standards, such as IEC 60998-1, VDE 0620. It is intended for testing the temperature rise under normal operation of electrical appliances's plugs and sockets.

Installation of specimen:

There are totally six groups of sample connecting terminals, when testing plug pin, the wires of the plug cable are connected to three groupes of terminals on the temperature rising test equipment, and three clamp elements should be locked on the plug pins, then the relative thermocouple inserted into the hole of each clamp element. When testing socket, the socket firstly in stalled into the installation container, wires connected between the socket terminals and the terminals on the temperature rising test equipment, also the thermocouple are connected to the corresponding terminals of the socket, then a test plug is insert into the socket, and the test plug is conected to the corresponding terminals of the temperature rising test equipment.
