Product Overview:
The thrust rod conforms to IEC 60950: 2013 clause 4.2.4, IEC 60065:2005 clause 9.1.7 c), IEC 60884.1-2002 and etc.
It is used to test the mechanical strength of the external conductive shell and the conductive parts of the external shell of audio, Ф30,video and similar electronic equipment.

Take IEC60950: 2013 clause 4.2.4 as an example:
External ENCLOSURES are subjected to a steady force of 250 N ± 5 N for a period of 5s, applied in turn to the top, bottom and sides of the ENCLOSURE fitted to the equipment, by means of a suitable test tool providing contact over a circular plane surface 30 mm in diameter. However, this test is not applied to the bottom of an ENCLOSURE of equipment having a mass of more than 18 kg.
