IEC 60335 Clause 22.11 50N Built - In Force Test Finger Nail

 

Product Overview:

The test fingernail confirms to the standard of IEC60335-1 clause 21.2, clause 22.11, Figure 7, etc. It is used to test non-detachable parts that protect against access to live parts, moisture or contact with moving parts shall be fixed in a reliable manner and withstand the mechanical stress occurring during normal use. Snap-in devices used for fixing such parts shall have an obvious locked position. It is dispensable for the electrical testing departments.

 

Technical Parameters:

The test fingernail consists of fingernail, finger body, stop plate, thrust block and pull-tab, thrust block can offer thrust of 0~50 N (resolution: 5N). The dimensions are coincided with that shown in following standard figure.

Take IEC60335-1 clause 21.2 as an example:

The test fingernail of Figure 7 is then applied to the scratched surface with a force of approximately 10 N.

The force is applied by pushing the top surface of the handle to the specific force scale line.

For verifying whether LIVE PARTS touched, the probe is equipped with an alligator clip, recommended to work with our anti-shock probe experiment device or a 40~50V voltage indicator.
