The exhaust stack flapper cap lays horizontally across the opening of the stack when no exhaust gas is being emitted and opens when there is pressure inside the stack. This allows the system to properly breathe, while also providing protection when not in use. Keeping harmful residues out of the exhaust can help keep your truck lasting longer and may help your gas mileage stay on track.
