Low Iron Mullite Insulation Brick ris a kind of insulation material adopting organic matter as ignition loss substance in order to increase the porosity of refractory, which has such advantages as high porosity, small volume density, good insulation effect, high mechanical intensity, small thermal conductivity and long service life. For various industrial kilns & furnaces, it is a kind of essential refractory for energy saving and temperature preservation.
Performances:
1. Low heat conductivity, with good thermal insulation effect
2. Low hot melting, due to low heat conductivity, it accumulates little heat to get obvious energy-saving in intermittent operation.
3. Low impurity content and low content of iron oxide & alkali metal oxide realize high refractoriness. High Al2O3 content makes it keep good performance under reducing atmosphere.
4. High thermal compressive strength
5. Accurate size increases construction speed, decreases fire clay usage, ensures strength and stability of masonry, prolongs the life span of lining.
