Ce: LuAG (Lutetium aluminum garnet, Ce: Lu3Al5O12) is an excellent scintillation crystal with the advantages of high density (6.73g/cm3) and fast decay (80ns), which is suitable for thin imaging screens. It also has a high photon yield (15000 Photons/MeV ) and a central emission at 510nm, The material can also be used for Medical Imaging Equipment, like Computed tomography (CT), Positron emission computed tomography (PET), and Single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
