Introduction :

Terbium Gallium Garnet (TGG) is a kind of synthetic garnet, a magneto-optical crystal with a high level of thermal conductivity for Faraday rotators and isolators( in the range of 400nm-1100nm, excluding 475-500nm). Crystro could offer a large size boule diameter: up to 4 inches.

TGG has many advantages compared to other magneto-optical crystals. It has a less optical loss, lower thermally induced beam distortion, and a twice bigger Verdet constant than a terbium doped glass.
