MgAl2O4 single crystal(MgAl2O4 spinel) is a synthetic material with a cubic crystal structure and excellent optical, dielectric, thermal, and chemical properties. It is widely used for bulk acoustic wave and microwave devices and fast IC epitaxial substrates. And MgAl2O4 is a good substrate for III-V nitrides device, which also has been successfully applied to the growth of high-quality GaN films.
