Introduction :
The electromechanical coupling coefficient of LGS crystal is three times that of quartz. It is a piezoelectric crystal material with excellent properties. It has good development prospects for the production of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filters and surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters.
For a long time, the research on LGS crystal has mainly focused on its piezoelectric properties. Since LGS crystal belongs to a triangular crystal system with 32 point groups, it has not only piezoelectric properties, but also optical rotation, electro-optics, and other properties, which can be used to produce electro-optical Q switches.
