In the short wavelength range, it has a high Verdet constant, low light absorption coefficient, high thermal conductivity, high laser damage threshold, and excellent optical performance.
All these advantages make TGG crystal an excellent material for constructing Faraday effect equipment and making up for the deficiency of YIG crystal in the visible and near-infrared spectrum.
