TGG Terbium Gallium Garnet Faraday Magneto Optical Crystal
Introduction :
TGG single crystal is the best magneto-optical material for making Faraday rotators and isolators, and the applicable wavelength is 400~1100 nm (excluding 470 500 nm). The Faraday rotator is composed of a TGG crystal rod and a specially designed magnet. The polarization direction of the beam passing through the magneto-optical material will be deflected under the action of a magnetic field, and its deflection direction is only related to the direction of the magnetic field and has nothing to do with the direction of beam propagation. The optical isolator consists of a 45-deflection optical rotator and a pair of appropriately placed polarizers. It allows the light beam to pass in only one direction and blocks the light beam from propagating in the opposite direction.
