The element cannot be used for rather long time in 400-700 ℃,otherwise ,it will be atomized owing to the strong oxdizing action in low temperature.

3.The max temperature of elements in different atmosphere

Following should be provided when ordering L Type or Bent 90° MoSi2 Heating Elements:

• Grade: 1700, 1800

• Diameter of Cold Zone / Hot Zone: c/d, in/in or mm/mm

• Length of Hot Zone: Le*, in. or mm

• Length of Code Zone: Lu*, in. or mm (Lu includes l, k and m as in the drawing below)

• Shank Spacing: a*, in. or mm

• Specify Le, Lu, and a with the same units (e.g. all as in. or mm).

Examples:
Grade 1800, d=6mm, c=12mm, Le=950mm, Lu=650mm, a=50mm
Specify as: MS18L, 6/12x950x650x50mm

Note: For inquiry, it is better to provide a drawing of the element and specify the element diameters in millimeters. For example, an element with a (d) diameter of 9 mm and a (c) diameter of 18 mm is often referred to as a 9/18 element. Other dimensions may be specified in millimeters or inches.
