WDM is an abbreviation for Wavelength-Division Multiplexing and is now one of the most widely used technology for high-capacity optical communication systems.
The WDM Module is expanding the bandwidth of Metro/Access Networks. The 4-channel and 8-channel CWDM modules are based on Wavelength Division Multiplexer devices. They can act as MUX/DEMUX with 20nm channel spacing. It has low insertion loss, low PDL, high isolation, and good thermal stability.
WDM is widely used for Long-haul telecommunication, Access/PON distributions, CATV networks.
