Water-base® C16 Product Description:

1: Non-phthalate green environmental-friendly plasticizer, alternative product of DEHP. It is certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration which is applicable in contact with food, suitable for toys, medical materials and plastic products for food packaging. Because of its good stain resistance and non-tacky surface, the soft PVC products containing Water-base® C16 plasticizer are more popular with consumers.

2: Multi-application plasticizer, which is compatible with all common primary and secondary plasticizers, it is widely used in PVC plastisol and organic sols. For PVC plastic solvents, it can reduce the solution viscosity, while increasing the stability, making it easier to pour into the mold with small die mouth.

 3: Water-base® C16 is also a valuable multi-purpose additive. When uses as an additive for PVC sheets, it can achieve higher rigidity compared with the same amount of DOP plasticizer. It can also be used as an additive for PVC products processed by calendaring and injection molding.

4: In the processing of cellulosic materials and textiles, water base® C16 is also a superior additive widely used in latex products such as PVAC and VAE.

Water-base® C16 Application: 

In PVC and other vinyl products: ❖ Good compatibility with PVC and all main plasticizers / auxiliary plasticizers, usually mixed with other plasticizers in formulas;

The unique lowest viscosity (9cp) is especially suitable for PVC plastisol, which enables more fillers in the formula to reduce the cost; ❖ Ensure vinyl products with a dry surface and give them good color resistance;

Low viscosity and low freezing point can improve the processing performance, effectively achieve low initial viscosity and good viscosity stability;  

Compared with traditional petroleum resin viscosity reducer, it has the absolute advantages of environmental safety and auxiliary plasticizing properties.
