5. use of aluminium fluoride:
It is mainly used in aluminum smelting to reduce the melting point and improve the conductivity of the electrolyte. In alcohol production, it is used as an inhibitor for secondary fermentation. It is also used as a component of the fluxes and enamels of ceramic and enamel glazes. It can also be used as a flux for smelting non iron metals.
