Calcium Bromide Solution 52% is used as a completion and workover fluid to control wellbore pressures in

upstream oil & gas operations. It can be used alone or mixed with calcium chloride and/or zinc/calcium bromide

to achieve a clear, solids-free fluid over a wide range of densities and crystallization temperatures.

Application:

 

Calcium bromide is the calcium salt of hydrobromic acid with the chemical formula of CaBr2. In its solid state,

it is a white powder. CaBr2 can be found in drilling fluids, neuroses medication, freezing mixtures, food preservatives,

photography and fire retardants.

 

 

 

Packaging and Storage:

 

 

Packed in 200L(55 Gal) drum or 1000 liter IBC tank.

 

Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from

incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking
