Alkaline lipase for leather degreasing, soaking, liming, and softening

Alkaline Lipase TL615S is produced through submerged-liquid fermentation technology, and it can hydrolyze natural lipid, especially long-chain fatty acid ester, into fatty acid and glycerin in a wide alkaline pH range and temperature range. It is used in the degreasing, soaking, liming, and softening process during leather production.

Benefit

This product can hydrolyze animal fats and degrease lipid completely. It can be used in the soaking and liming process to disperse collagen fiber and make the pelt more clean and smooth. Also, It also improves the tear strength and tensile strength of finished leather, especially the quality of suede leather.

Application for leather processing

Alkaline Lipase TL615S can be used together with protease, or surfactant which doesn’t inhibit enzyme activity or other degreasing agents.

Dissolve powder form into liquid enzyme, and spray directly on the leather surface or merge leather into the liquid enzyme.

Suggest to do a small-scale test before mass production and avoid overdose or damage caused by quality variation of leather.

Dosage: 0.05~0.5% of rawhide dry weight. Dosage can be adjusted by request.

Safety

Avoid inhaling enzyme powder. Rinse immediately with water if contact with skin or eyes.

Storage

Preserve in a cool and dry area with good ventilation.
