Principle of ultrasonic plastic welder

The ultrasonic welding machine converts the 50/60 Hz current into 15, 20, 30 or 40 kHz electric energy through the ultrasonic generator. The converted high-frequency electrical energy is again converted into mechanical motion of the same frequency through the transducer, which is then transmitted to the welding head through a set of amplitude transformer. The vibration energy received by the welding head is transferred to the joint of the workpiece to be welded, where the vibration energy is converted into heat energy by friction to melt the plastic.

The ultrasound plastic welding machine is customized for meter box back case welding. We use 4-horn and 4-generator for welding the four sides of the 3-phase meter box cases. And an extra welding horn or mould is prepared to weld a single-phase meter box, which can be installed on the same machine after dismantling the 3-phase meter box welding moulds.
