Misunderstanding of workpiece materials for Ultrasonic Plastic Welding:

The ultrasonic plastic welding machine has requirements on the material of the workpiece to be welded, not all materials can be welded, some people understand that any material can be ultrasonic welded, this is a great misunderstanding. The melting point of the same material is the same, so it can be welded in principle, but when the melting point of the workpiece to be welded is greater than 350℃, it is not suitable for ultrasonic welding. Because ultrasonic is instant to dissolve the workpiece molecules, the judgment is based on 3 seconds, not good welding, you should choose other welding processes, such as hot plate welding. Generally speaking, ABS material is easy to be welded, while nylon is difficult to be welded.
