High precision pultruded carbon fibre rod measuring just 1mm in diameter. Small diameter rod like this is very easy to bend in longer lengths but in shorter lengths can be effective for control rods or actuators on small scale applications such as radio controlled models and UAVs. Nonetheless, the rod is still manufactured to tight tolerances using high strength carbon fibre and an epoxy resin matrix for maximum performance. The length is up to 2000mm.
