At a nominal hardness of 600 HBW, 600 has a uniquely high impact toughness. Especially suited for extreme wear conditions, it can still be cut and welded, making it an excellent choice for high-performance applications. 600 is a Q&T martensitic wear plate for applications that demand high resistance to abrasion and wear. Delivering a hardness of 600 Brinell, it offers a unique combination of weldability, hardness and toughness. It brings a level of user-friendliness not found in many other steels designed for high wear resistance and eliminates the need to sacrifice wear resistance to enhance impact strength. 600 has been successfully used as linings in applications such as conveyor systems, wear strips, feeders, chutes and concrete mixers and in other high-wear equipment. Bandsaw Cutting
Fast execution of cut to size orders with modern automatic bandsaws.
By using CNC-controlled band saw machines, we can realize any order economically and in the shortest possible time according to the customer's individual requirements. Band sawing as a cutting method has the great advantage that there are no heat-affected zones.
We work with high performance Behringer band saws and plate saws. We realize cuts up to a plate thickness of 250 mm and 6.300 mm plate length on our plate saws.
Waterjet cutting is a cost-effective process for producing prototypes and small batches for an almost unlimited range of materials. A DXF file of the workpiece to be cut is imported or created directly with the cutting software. Then the cutting qualities in the contour are determined. This determines the cutting parameters (feed speed or pressure). The material to be machined is positioned on the attachment and cutting can begin. Cutting with water jet is convincing because of particularly short programming and set-up times.
Our water jet cutting machine is designed for cutting large-format plates in high precision. The cutting system is equipped with Tilt-A-Jet, A-Jet cutting heads and dual bridge to increase cutting capacity and flexibility.
Oxyfuel / Plasma Cutting

Drilling, tapping and countersinking: MircoStep® DRM cutting systems can combine all of these methods in one single system, without affecting the quality of the components.
The advantages of such a combination of different methods is obvious: No time-consuming handling of components and no further tightening and any re- programming of the component at the cutting system – the entire process is completed using one cutting system.
For quick processing and tool change 8 – fold tool magazine is available, in which the tools are protected against cutting dust and damage. After drilling, the system automatically switches to the cutting tool, (plasma) and cuts all planned 3D contours.
Welding
Any conventional welding method can be used for welding these steels to any type of weldable steel.
We also perform hard facing of parts of machines and devices that are subject to higher wear. Hard facing is the process of applying the feed material to the base material or base. The purpose of hard facing is to restore the original dimensions or surface quality (due to wear), or change/improve the properties of the material's surface in order to protect it against corrosion, wear, high temperatures and cavitation, and obtain better sealing properties.
Bending
is eminently well suited for cold bending.
Bending high strength steel sheet and plate rarely proves to be difficult, however, there are certain parameters that must be considered. A material of high purity with few inclusions is of fundamental importance, in order to achieve a good bending result. SSAB’s modern processing allows for high standards of surface quality, tolerances and mechanical properties.
Wear plates such as with high strengths can be cold worked by bending and roll bending. Due to the higher strength, however, factors must be applied to ensure that the bending and roll bending can be carried out with the best possible quality.
Rolling - To roll sheets and plates three rolls are used. We roll the sheets and plates of 400, 450 and 500 with thickness 1 to 60 mm and a width of 2-2.5 meters. Sheet and plate thicknesses up to 40 mm can be rolled without excess length. To roll thicker plates, excess length is required.
Machining
can be machined with high speed steel or cemented carbide tools.
