It consists of steel tape coated on one side with an adherent ethylene copolymer.the copolymer is an acrylic acid-based copolymer, such as ethylene-acrylic acid, ethyl-methyl-acrylic acid, PE, ionomers, and the like. Ethylene-Acrylic Acid Copolymer (EAA) was chosen as the standard material for the bonding adhesive in our company, This unique thermoplastic is unsurpassed for forming a strong heat seal bond between aluminum and low and medium density polyethylene in cable applications. The steel is low carbon electronic chrome-coated steel tempered to T-2 condition for excellent formability and fabrication characteristics.
