Hot dip galvanized 5/16" UNC thread plastic spring channel nut

Channel Nuts are produced from steel bars because steel has high tensile strength, can be combined with other alloys and is resistant to a lot of corrosives. Channel nuts are rectangular with the ends shaped to allow a quarter turn crosswise in the framing slot after inserting through the opening in the channel and to prevent any further turning of the nut.

Two serrated grooves in the top of the nut engage the inturned edges of the channel and, after bolting is done, will prevent any lengthwise movement of the bolt and nut within the framing member.
