Mullite sand, produced through high temperature calcined process, is a kind of high quality casting sand made from of high quality Kaolin mines. The main crystalline phase is mullite. It is generally used in stainless steel precision casting process. When the refractory degree is about 1750 degrees, the higher the aluminum content in mulberry sand is, the lower the iron content is. The smaller the dust is, the better the quality of mullite product is.
