WFA Fused Alumina Powder , High Purity Alumina Block
Tilting Furnace Barmac Crushed White Fused Alumina WFA for Refractory Castables
1. White Fused Alumina Descriptions
White fused alumina is fused by alumina powder by melting above 2000℃ in electric arc furnace and cooling, through crushing, shaping, deironing and then divided into a variety of particle size by screening. It has the performance of high purity, self-sharpening, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature thermal stability and lower toughness. Its hardness is slightly higher than brown fused alumina. The abrasives made of it are suitable for manufacturing ceramic porcelain, resin consolidation abrasive and grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting (Precision casting special corundum) etc.

5. White Fused Alumina Applications
Monolithic refractory castables are a group of products which with the addition of water, are cast into place. Castables are supplied dry, mixed onsite and installed behind shuttering or cast in a mould to form the required shape.
There are various types of castable products including:
- Conventional
- Low & ultra-low Cement
- Insulating
- Chemically bonded
- Basic
The type of refractory castable you use will depend on the required properties and application.
