►Brief Introduction

The alarm lamp board is located at the top of front housing. It has two-color indicators, red and yellow. The alarm lamp board directly connects the main board through a cable. It is controlled directly by the main board.

The LED Light Board and Alarm Board are two separate printed circuit boards (PCBA) used in the Mindray iMEC8 Patient Monitor.

The LED Light Board is responsible for providing visual indications for the physiological parameters being measured and displayed on the monitor. The board consists of a number of LED lights, each representing a specific parameter such as heart rate, blood pressure or oxygen saturation.

The Alarm Board, on the other hand, is responsible for monitoring the physiological parameters being measured and sounding an audible alarm when any of them goes beyond their pre-set limits. This board is connected to sensors attached to the patient and continuously monitors their vital signs. It triggers an alarm when any of the readings go beyond their normal ranges indicating a potential medical emergency.
