Active Regeneration Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
Regeneration Technologies
Heating Regeneration: Uses intake/exhaust throttling and in-cylinder post-injection to rapidly increase DPF inlet temperature up to 650°C for effective PM oxidation.
Fuel Injection Combustion-Supporting Regeneration: Adds fuel injectors before particle trap inlet, using spark plugs or glow plugs to ignite particles with high-temperature gas.
Electric Heating Regeneration: Heats particle trap through electrical current, using ceramic fiber-wrapped heating pipes or conductive SiC filter materials.
Microwave Regeneration: Utilizes microwave selective heating to form internal heat sources within filter body for particle ignition.
