Metallized ceramic insulators

Metallized ceramic insulators are made from ceramics combined with thick metal films through a metallization process. This combination of ceramic and metal allows for the creation of insulators that can withstand harsh conditions and provide electrical insulation when required.

Metallization specification:

Molybdenum/Manganese (Mo/Mn) plating: 9–30 µm.
Nickel coating thickness: 3–10 µm.

Characteristics of metallized ceramic insulators:

• The ceramic material has a uniform texture, each batch has stable quality and bending strength.
• The metal layer is dense, constant, smooth and weldable.
• Excellent electrical insulation, low dielectric constant, good resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
• High tensile strength, good air tightness to meet the requirements of high frequency, high power and safety electrical components.

Applications of metallized ceramic insulators:

Semiconductor packaging, TO packaging, fiber optic device shell, laser shell, vacuum electronic devices, LED accessories, etc.
