Potassium Butyl Xanthate is a versatile and powerful flotation collector with excellent selectivity, widely used in the mining industry for the following applications:

• Sulfide Multi-Metallic Ores:
  • Effective for flotation of copper ores, pyrite (e.g., chalcopyrite, sphalerite, and pyrite)
  • Ideal for copper-nickel compound sulfide ores and gold ores associated with pyrite
• Oxide Ores:
  • Provides satisfactory results for lead oxide and copper ores after activation with copper sulfate
• Flotation Processes:
  • Commonly used in rough flotation and scavenging flotation
  • Suitable for selective flotation of copper sulfide minerals from iron sulfide minerals

Dosage: Use as a 10%-20% solution, with a usual dosage of 10-100 g/ton depending on ore type and flotation conditions.
